About Us:
We have been doing business
on the internet as King & Queen Enterprises since May 1995, and
have just recently formed our new corporate name, "Universal Resource
Locator Corp." We have an excellent reputation for our honesty, &
integrity in doing business with the public. We have never had a compliant
filed against us for any reason. You can check this out with the better business bureau.
We first started out as a catalog
company selling merchandise over the internet, & a couple of months later, started investing in Domain Names, & web development. If we only knew then, what we know now, we would be a very rich company.
Around 1994 through 1996 was the beginning of the Domain Name craze.
We were not familiar with the industry back then, & missed out on a
lot of good names that would have brought us a lot of money. Over the
years we have gained much experience in this field of, buying, selling,
auctions, & appraising Domain names. Are we experts, "NO",
and we don't pretend to be. We can only bring to this niche site
what we have experienced over the years in the Domain industry. We have
been is this industry long enough to know that, buying is easy, if you
have the money, selling your names can be very hard, or impossible at
times, & appraising Domain names even harder. You always hear the
saying, "A name is worth, what ever someone is willing to pay for it."
Most of the time, that is very true, ask any Domain name owner.
The owner of
Universal Resource Locator Corp, has been in the telecommunication industry for 28 years, on & off the internet.
He has many years of experience in this field, & has built his reputation
on service, honesty, & integrity. He is well know in many Business,
& Domain circles, as being a fair, & honest business man. He wants
the the internet, & particularly the Domain industry, to move forward
in a more positive light.
He has created this niche site so that both buyers, & sellers can have
a safe, & secure place to conduct there business, and gain maximum
exposure for there Domain Names. He has kept pricing on the site to
a bare minimum. He knows how important money is to sellers, he has
been in the same situation.
He has seen, & heard from so many Domain owners, & buyers who have
defaulted on an auction with all the various auction sites, & not much
of anything is done about it. He has decided to create a holding fee for
both buyers, sellers, & all members must be verified along with
the Domain Name before they are allowed to either buy, or sell at this
site, in the hope of minimizing any fraud at the auction block.
Our Views:
The Domain Name
industry will be going through a lot of changes in the next few months.
With new extensions coming out, & more extensions to come out in the
very near future, its going to put this industry into a whole new light.
This market will be forever changing, & you must change with the
times. We have created this niche site to narrow the field of this every growing industry.
The .com in our
opinion, & in about 99% of Domain owners, & sellers opinion will
always be king of the hill. We don't see this changing any time
soon. The .com is the most sort after TLD on the market today. Its
the most recognized extension on the internet, & the most expensive of
all the TLD'S. on the market.
We feel the .net is
a replacement for the .com, & in most case's is worth about half of
what the .com would go for, if that. At this time the .net has its place
among one word names, but after that, the value will be reduced dramatically.
The .org has its place, but
limited in value, & use. Only real .org names have any value to them.
Some domain owners try and justify the use of the .org by putting any name
if front of it, and calling it a real .org when it fact, its just another
fancy way of using, & saying I have a one word name.
All the rest of the extensions
which include: .cc, .ca, co.uk, .biz, .info, .coop, .aero, .museum .sex,
& any other country code that you can think of fall way behind in there general public use,
so there value will be limited also. Only the one word names listed above,
will have any general public value at all.
The Domain industry has
changed in the past year or so. Many big firms, & dot com companies
have folded because they invested to much, to fast, & expected to much
in return. Domain buyers have invested a lot money trying to capitalize on
this very profitable market, but sales, & prices have dropped dramatically
over the past year, causing domain owners to lower there price to make up
for some of there investment. A lot of names that people are registering
now will either not sell, or will get a very low return for there
investment. The market is still there, people are still registering
names, or buying them, but the buying, & pricing of domain names has
changed so much, that the profit margin has decreased, and the dream of
making a quick fortune from selling Domain Names is fading fast. There are
a lot of disgruntled Domain owners who are either getting out of the
business, or selling there Domain Names at very reduced prices
to make up for there initial investment. Times are changing in this
Domain industry, & you must change with the times, or get left
behind.
Standards:
We have come up with standards for accepting Domain Names,
& membership here at DomainLister.com for a number of
very good reasons. The time has come to take the Domain industry to a
higher, & more focused market, the time has come for a premium niche
Domain Broker site. Below are some of the reasons.
A. Domain Name Broker sites tend to allow their sites to be cluttered
with useless Domain Names, that have little or no value.
B. New Domain Extensions will further clutter the Domain market with
Domain Names with little or no value.
C. Domain Name Brokerage sites normally do not verify ownership of a
domain being listed on their site, thus leading to fraudulent auctions
of domain names.
D. DomainLister.com is committed to taking a hands on approach in the
Business of Domain Name Marketing.
The following are some of the standards we have established for Domain Names appearing on this site.
(1) We will not accept
any names that don't say or convey a word. This includes any combination
of letters that say, or mean nothing. Some examples would include: bk7,
aky, 7bc, fklv, 84c, I think you get the idea. This includes any .com .net
.org, or dot anything. There are always exceptions to the rule like: b2b,
h20, nba, abc, ufo, dna, a combination of very well known letters, & numbers are the
only exceptions.
(2) All
names must be 1-2 word names, & many three word names, depending on
the three word name, which will be at our discretion to approve, or disapprove for being listed here.
(3) Most
.com's who fall into the above standards will be accepted.
(4)
All other extensions
which include: .net, .org, .biz, .info, co.uk, cc, ca, tv, or any other
extension must be one or two word names, which meet the above standards
for being admitted for auctions or listings. There
are exceptions to every rule, & it must be an excellent three word
.net, or .org, or any other extension three word name that meets the above standards. The above Domain Name extensions are at our discretion.
(5) We reserve the right to refuse any Domain Name that does not
meet our standards.
(6) We reserve the
right to refuse any membership to DomainLister.com who don't meet our
standards.
(7) We will not accept
Domain Names, or membership to DomainLister.com, which can't be verified.
(8) We will not accept Domain Names from brokers which can't be verified with the Domain Name owner.
(9)
We reserve the right to refuse any Domain Names for the special listings
that don't meet our standards.
(10)
We will not sacrifice the integrity of this site for any reason, any person, in any way, shape or form.
Our standards may be strict, but
it will be worth it for both buyers, & sellers who want maximum
exposure.
Thank you for visiting our site, & we hope to do business
together.
We welcome any, & all suggestions, or comments that you may have.
